Rosemont Wolverine (Sacramento, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverine now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 9. Rosemont will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, St. Francis falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Troubadours host Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to battle the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7.
