March 3, 2025: New Hope, AL 35760 The New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL) baseball trounced the visiting Lee Generals (Huntsville, AL), 12-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Jackson for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. New Hope will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Sylvania (Sylvania, AL). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Lee drops to 0-6 on the year. The Generals travel to Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL) to clash with the Jaguars in a 6A Area 16 challenge on Friday, March 7. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
