In Monday's non-league game, the host North Delta Green Wave baseball team scored a close 6-1 win over the Starkville Academy Volunteers.

The Green Wave (5-3) will now prepare for their game against East Webster (Maben, MS). The Wolverines go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, East Webster was overwhelmed by Grenada (Grenada, MS), 6-5, in a non-league game.
