March 3, 2025: Citrus Heights, CA 95621 The Mesa Verde Mavericks topped the visiting Pioneer Patriots volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mavericks confront the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 6. Mesa Verde will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA).
The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Marysville (Marysville, CA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Marysville gained a win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 2-0, in a league game.
