Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), 52-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Newington advances its record to 13-9 on the year. The Nor'easters travel to Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 5. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 11-3.
