South Carolina High School Soccer - Airport knocks off Aiken
March 3, 2025: West Columbia, SC 29170 The Airport Eagles soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host South Aiken for a bout on Thursday, March 6. Airport will play a Thoroughbreds squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Aiken moves to 0-2 on the year. The Fighting green hornets travel to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC) to play the Indians in a bout on Thursday, March 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Gilbert lost 5-0 in their recent league bout against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC)
