March 3, 2025: Durham, NC 27703 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC) and the host Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans (Durham, NC), saw NCSSM: Durham's soccer squad triumph over Southern School of Energy and Sustainability by a count of 8-0.
The Unicorns (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Red Rams enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Franklinton was overwhelmed by Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Louisburg Warriors (Louisburg, NC) in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A battle, on Wednesday, March 12. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
