The Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders the visiting Del Norte Nighthawks softball squad by a count of 7-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Mater Dei Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Sundevils enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA).

The Nighthawks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA). The Titans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Eastlake edged Valhalla (El Cajon, CA), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
