Louisiana High School Softball - Dutchtown bounces Riverside Academy
March 3, 2025: Geismar, LA 70734 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) and the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), observed Dutchtown's softball team get by Riverside Academy by a tally of 6-2.
The Griffins (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Gators go into the 5A District 5 bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, St. Amant tipped E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA), 9-7, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Rebels clash with the De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 6. Riverside Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Cavalier go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA).
