Louisiana High School Softball - Southside sneaks past South Terrebonne
March 3, 2025: Youngsville, LA The Southside Sharks softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting South Terrebonne Gators to 13 in the Sharks non-league win on Monday.
The Sharks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kaplan for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 6. Southside will confront a Pirates team coming off a 15-0 league win over Erath (Erath, LA). The Pirates record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, South Terrebonne moves to 2-1 on the season. The Gators host A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA) to confront the Patriots in a 4A District 7 battle on Thursday, March 6. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 2-2. A.J. Ellender lost 22-1 in their recent non-league battle against Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA)
