The Alhambra Lions baseball team (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ)

The Coyotes (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ). The Scorpions enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Desert Edge held off Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ), 14-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 5. Alhambra will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Verrado (Buckeye, AZ).
