Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ), 5-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Buckeye advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Hawks host Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ) to play the Wolves in a non-league game on Thursday, March 5. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 1-0. Estrella Foothills won 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Eastmark (Mesa, AZ)

Next, the Cougars play the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 5. Kellis will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Fighting Lobos go into the test with a 4-1 record after their 11-6 non-league win over Fairfax (Laveen, AZ).
