O'Donnell Eagles (O'Donnell, TX) supporters went home thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Floydada Whirlwinds (Floydada, TX), 7-1 in a non-league test.

The Eagles now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bluff Dale for a non-league test on Thursday, March 5. O'Donnell will play a Bobcats team coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Avalon (Avalon, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-4.
