The Winters Blizzards overwhelmed the host Bangs Dragons softball squad by a count of 13-5 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Blizzards meet the Hamlin Pied Pipers (Hamlin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 5. Winters will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Pied Pipers go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Westbrook (Westbrook, TX).

The Dragons (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Coleman (Coleman, TX). The Bluecats go into the 2A Region I District 7 outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Coleman Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX), 1-1, in a league outing.
