In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Yuma Criminals softball team scored a tight 12-6 win over the Somerton Toros.

The Criminals (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Westview (Avondale, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Westview nipped Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ), 16-0, in a non-league game.

The Toros now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Highland Prep for a non-league game on Monday, March 9. Somerton will play a Honey Badgers squad coming off a 18-7 league loss to Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ). The Honey Badgers record now stands at 1-3.
