The Downingtown East Cougars baseball team (Exton, PA), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA)

The Hornets now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muhlenberg for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 6.

Next, the Cougars confront the Coatesville Red Raiders (Coatesville, PA) in a Ches-Mont outing, on Wednesday, April 7. Downingtown East will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
