March 30, 2022: Waldorf, MD 20601 Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), 15-5 in a league test.
With the win, Stone upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD) to clash with the Hurricanes in a Southern Maryland match on Friday, April 1. The Hurricanes go into the match with a record of 3-1. Huntingtown won 7-0 in their recent league match against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD)
The Wolverines (0-3) will now prepare for their match against La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Warriors go into the Southern Maryland match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, La Plata was overwhelmed by Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 5-0, in a league match.
