North Carolina High School Soccer - West Stokes knocks off Walkertown
March 30, 2022: King, NC 27021 West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a Mid-State 2A challenge, on Monday, April 4. West Stokes will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).
The Wolfpack now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Morehead for a Mid-State 2A test on Thursday, March 31. Walkertown will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to West Stokes (King, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
