Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) and the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), witnessed Hickory Ridge's softball squad tip Central Cabarrus by a count of 3-2.

The Ragin' Bulls now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host A.L. Brown for a Greater Metro 4A match on Friday, April 1. Hickory Ridge will face a Wonders squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Central Cabarrus moves to 8-2 on the season. The Vikings host Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to face the Knights in a South Piedmont 3A match on Friday, April 1.
