Ohio High School Baseball - Perkins nips Firelands
March 30, 2023: Oberlin, OH 44074 Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH), 8-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Perkins upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Clyde (Clyde, OH) to battle the Fliers in a Sandusky Bay - Lake test on Friday, March 31. The Fliers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Clyde won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Edison (Milan, OH)
With the defeat, Firelands falls to 0-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Bay (Bay Village, OH) to battle the Rockets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
