Georgia High School Soccer - Mount Vernon knocks off Mt. Bethel Christian Academy
March 30, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles (Marietta, GA), 9-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots (Johns Creek, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 challenge, on Saturday, April 1. Mount Vernon will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 4-3 league loss to Atlanta International (Atlanta, GA).
The Eagles now have a 4-7 record.
