March 30, 2023: Garden City, GA 31408 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) and the visiting Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA), saw Groves's soccer squad knock off Liberty County by a margin of 2-0.
The Rebels now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Savannah Country Day for a 3A Area 3 test on Friday, March 31. Groves will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Liberty County drops to 2-5 on the season. The Panthers host Long County (Ludowici, GA) to meet the Blue Tide in a 3A Area 3 test on Friday, March 31. The Blue Tide come into the test with a record of 10-4. Long County lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA)
