March 30, 2023: Oskaloosa, KS 66066 Oskaloosa Bears (Oskaloosa, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Horton Chargers (Horton, KS), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Onaga for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. Oskaloosa will battle a Buffaloes squad coming off a 17-16 non-league loss to Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-3.
