Illinois High School Baseball - Lincoln can't hold off Carmel
March 30, 2024: Mundelein, IL 60060 The Carmel Corsairs baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters to 5 in the Corsairs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Corsairs (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Mahomet-Seymour was edged by St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL), 3-1, in a non-league match.
The Railsplitters (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Rockets go into the Central State Eight match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Rochester was edged by Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL), 8-2, in a league match.
