Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE), 7-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grand Island upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Islanders host Norfolk (Norfolk, NE) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-4. Norfolk lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE)
