March 30, 2024: Joliet, IL 60435 Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), 10-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Providence Catholic upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Celtics travel to St. Xavier (Louisville, KY) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 4. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-5. St. Xavier won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Southern (Louisville, KY)
With the defeat, Joliet West falls to 7-3 on the season. The Tigers host Yorkville (Yorkville, IL) to battle the Foxes in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 2. The Foxes come into the test with a record of 4-2. Yorkville won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL)
