Louisiana High School Softball - Denham Springs bounces Erath
March 30, 2024: Denham Springs, LA 70726 Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Erath Bobcats (Erath, LA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets now own a 11-13 record. They take the field next when they host Dutchtown for a 5A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Denham Springs will battle a Griffins squad coming off a 4-3 league win over St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 19-4.
With the loss, Erath falls to 9-16 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Berwick (Berwick, LA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 6-15. Berwick lost 7-3 in their recent league challenge against St. James (St. James, LA)
