Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the visiting Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC), witnessed Perquimans's softball squad tip Lawrence Academy by a count of 4-1.

The Pirates now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Northside - Pinetown for a non-league match on Monday, April 1. Perquimans will face a Panthers squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-1.
