In Monday's non-league bout, the Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL) baseball team trounced the visiting Liberty Eagles (Liberty, IL), by a count of 10-0.

The Chargers now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rushville-Industry for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 1. Illini West will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Macomb (Macomb, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Liberty drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL) to face the Raiders in a West Central battle on Thursday, April 2.
