Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) fans exited the stadium happy Monday as they observed their softball team notch a victory over the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), 13-3 in a non-league match.

The Braves (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Jennings County gained a win over Henryville (Henryville, IN), 7-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bluejackets battle the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 31. Mitchell will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
