Covington Buccaneers (Covington, OH) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Versailles Tigers (Versailles, OH), 14-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Covington upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Miami East (Casstown, OH) to play the Vikings in a Three Rivers game on Tuesday, March 31. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 3-2. Miami East lost 14-0 in their recent non-league game against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH)
