March 31, 2022: Oxford, AL 36203 Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) and the visiting Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), saw Oxford's baseball squad knock off Central by a count of 11-1.
Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets play the Pell City Panthers (Pell City, AL) in a 6A Area 13 battle, on Monday, April 4. Oxford will attempt to move on its 17-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 14-4 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Wilson (Florence, AL).
The Wildcats now possess a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrence County for a non-league battle on Friday, April 1. Central will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Russellville (Russellville, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-13.
