In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Severance Silver Knights baseball team scored a nice 13-5 victory over the University Bulldogs.

The Silver Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Berthoud (Berthoud, CO). The Spartans go into the 4A/3A Longs Peak game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Berthoud overcame SkyView Academy (Highlands Ranch, CO), 20-0, in a non-league game.
