Kansas High School Soccer - Hays held off by Valley Center
March 31, 2022: Valley Center, KS 67147 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) and the visiting Hays Indians (Hays, KS), saw Valley Center's soccer squad get by Hays by a margin of 2-1.
The Hornets now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Haysville Campus for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 5. Valley Center will play a Colts team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Colts record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Indians play the McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 1. Hays will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Bullpups go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Maize South (Wichita, KS).
