Tennessee High School Soccer - Northpoint Christian nudges St. Benedict at Auburndale
March 31, 2022: Cordova, TN 38016 Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the Westminster Academy Defenders (Memphis, TN) in a D II-A West 6 challenge, on Friday, April 1. Northpoint Christian will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Defenders enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over White Station (Memphis, TN).
The Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Brighton for a non-league test on Friday, April 1. St. Benedict at Auburndale will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
