Kansas High School Softball - Humboldt bounces Erie
March 31, 2022: Humboldt, KS 66748 The Humboldt Cubs routed the visiting Erie Red Devils softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Cubs (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bluestem (Leon, KS). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Bluestem topped Flinthills (Rosalia, KS), 9-2, in a non-league battle.
The Red Devils now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eureka for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 2. Erie will meet a Tornadoes squad coming off a 16-6 non-league loss to West Elk (Howard, KS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 0-1.
