March 31, 2022: Howard, KS 67349 The West Elk Patriots routed the visiting Eureka Tornadoes softball squad by a final score of 16-6 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Oxford (Oxford, KS). The Wildcats go into the South Central Border battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Oxford notched a victory over Sedan (Sedan, KS), 15-14, in a league battle.
The Tornadoes now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Erie for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 2. Eureka will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, KS). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-2.
