March 31, 2022: Cordova, TN 38016 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR) and the host St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN), witnessed Greene County Tech's softball squad prevail over St. Benedict at Auburndale by a count of 15-2.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they host West Memphis for a 5A East match on Tuesday, April 5.
With the loss, St. Benedict at Auburndale moves to 3-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, April 1. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 2-1. Northpoint Christian won 30-17 in their recent league match against St. George's (Collierville, TN)
