Ohio High School Softball - Westfall bounces Liberty Union
March 31, 2022: Williamsport, OH 43164 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH) and the visiting Liberty Union Lions (Baltimore, OH), witnessed Westfall's softball squad prevail over Liberty Union by a count of 9-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington for a Scioto Valley match on Monday, April 4. Westfall will meet a Huntsmen squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to East Clinton (Sabina, OH). The Huntsmen record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Liberty Union moves to 0-1 on the season. The Lions host Amanda-Clearcreek (Amanda, OH) to meet the Aces in a Mid-State - Buckeye match on Friday, April 1. The Aces go into the match with a record of 0-0.
