Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), 11-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Isle of Wight Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Chargers host Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, April 3. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-5. Fredericksburg Christian lost 12-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA)

With the defeat, Catholic falls to 4-5 on the season. The Crusaders host Steward (Richmond, VA) to battle the Spartans in a Tidewater Independent test on Tuesday, April 4. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 4-3.
