March 31, 2023: Johnson City, TN 37604 Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA), 10-9 in a non-league game.
The Hilltoppers (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Daniel Boone (Gray, TN). The Trailblazers go into the non-league game with a 4-0 record.
The Blue Demons (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights go into the River Ridge game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Cave Spring was edged by Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN), 5-4, in a non-league game.
