The Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), 18-9 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Hickory upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Red Tornadoes travel to Watauga (Boone, NC) to battle the Pioneers in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills outing on Tuesday, April 4. The Pioneers go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Watauga lost 14-1 in their recent league test against Asheville (Asheville, NC)

In their next game, the Vikings face the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a Greater Metro/Queen City/Catawba Shores/S Piedmont test, on Monday, April 3. South Iredell will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 11-10 non-league win over Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC).
