Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Melrose can't get by Beverly
March 31, 2023: Melrose, MA 02176 In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Beverly Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 victory over the Melrose Red Raiders.
The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Masconomet Regional for a Northeastern test on Thursday, April 6. Beverly will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Weston (Weston, MA). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Red Raiders face the Woburn Memorial Tanners (Woburn, MA) in a Middlesex test, on Tuesday, April 4. Melrose will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Tanners come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 9-8 non-league win over North Reading (North Reading, MA).
