Galileo Falcons (Danville, VA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons (Petersburg, VA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons confront the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 3. Galileo will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to James River (Buchanan, VA).

The Dragons now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a Tri-Rivers challenge on Monday, April 17.
