March 31, 2025: Longview, WA 98632 The Kelso Hilanders (Kelso, WA) baseball trounced the host Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA), 11-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Hilanders now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Capital for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. Kelso will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Lakes (Lakewood, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Mark Morris drops to 3-2 on the year. The Monarchs travel to R.A. Long (Longview, WA) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Lumberjacks go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. R.A. Long lost 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against La Center (La Center, WA)
