With the triumph, Monticello moves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Sages host Tri-Valley (Downs, IL) to confront the Vikings in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 4-0. Tri-Valley won 10-8 in their recent non-league contest against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)
The Railsplitters now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield Southeast for a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, April 1. Lincoln will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
