Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA), 15-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Mid Valley advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Old Forge (Old Forge, PA) to battle the Blue Devils in a Lackawanna 2 match on Wednesday, April 2. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 2-1. Old Forge won 6-4 in their recent non-league match against West Scranton (Scranton, PA)

The Meteors now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest City for a Lackawanna 4 match on Wednesday, April 2. Montrose will battle a Foresters squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA). The Foresters record now stands at 1-1.
