New York High School Baseball - Maple Hill nips Cambridge/Salem
April 8, 2026: Castleton on Hudson, NY 12033 The Maple Hill Wildcats baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Cambridge/Salem to 14 in the Wildcats non-league win on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chatham for a Section 2 Patroon test on Monday, April 13. Maple Hill will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 league win over Rensselaer (Rensselaer, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Cambridge/Salem drops to 1-1 on the year. The travel to North Warren Central (Chestertown, NY) to clash with the Cougars in a Section 2 Adirondack - East test on Monday, April 13. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 1-1. North Warren Central won 15-3 in their recent non-league test against Northville (Northville, NY)
