The Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) baseball the visiting South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), 6-3 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Comets play the West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Clayton will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cleveland (Clayton, NC).
