March 4, 2022: Lubbock, TX 79413 Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX), 7-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Monterey upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Plainsmen host Plainview (Plainview, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, March 11. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-2.
With the defeat, Grapevine falls to 2-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Montwood (El Paso, TX) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, March 5. The Rams come into the test with a record of 8-3. Montwood won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX)
